The film follows Barberie “Barbie” Bichette (Agnès Jaoui), once a devoted mother, now struggling with the challenges of her chaotic home/work life. On the brink of her 55th birthday, Barbie must decide whether to conform to society’s dismissive view of aging women or break the mould. What follows is a funny yet poignant journey of self-discovery, as Barbie escapes to the Scottish Highlands to reclaim her identity.
